Reports indicate that the tournament, widely considered the premier event in European club basketball, was overshadowed by crowd control problems, ticketing system failures, and security concerns both before and during the match at the Telekom Center.

Many Fenerbahçe supporters reportedly were unable to enter the arena despite holding valid tickets, with confusion and technical breakdowns occurring at entry points as large crowds gathered outside the venue.

The issue extended beyond the arena itself, as transportation carrying family members of Fenerbahçe players reportedly arrived late due to coordination problems involving local authorities and traffic management.
